Editorial Review
Two sisters. One heart-breaking secret. And a past that cannot stay buried.

Customer Reviews
Average Customer Rating:

Loved it
I have just finished reading this book and have to say that I couldn't put it down. I bought it after seeing it reviewed on the TV book club then reading the first few pages on here and I was hooked. I usually tend to avoid novels that jump from one story to another with every chapter but becasue the stories were so closely linked, it completely worked and the story unravelled at a good, steady pace. I did guess the secrets before they were revealed but it didn't matter because I couldn't have guessed the details of the secrets, (if that makes sense) so it was still worth reading on to find out why these things happened.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!

a little melodramatic
The book started well but I felt it lost impetus and in the end I found it rather an unsatifactory read. I struggled on several occasions to keep going. Several of the characters were rather stereotyped.

definitely worth reading
I loved this book, the characters were believable and took you with them on their journey through time. There were surprises and a mystery to be solved. The author paints a detailed picture of the characters, it seems as though you get to know them and to like them. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, an excellent escape!

Unputdownable
Loved this book, not yet finished and looking forward to the final pages and the end of the saga. Hope Katherine will be writing more books. Will look forward to her next one.

Anti climax or what!
I bought this book based on all the great reviews I had read but was so disappointed! I didn't think the various story threads were particularly interesting or gripping, and found that I didn't care about the characters. I found I got quite weary of the big secret and the will they/won't they reveal it all now, and found that by the time the big reveal came it was all a big anti-climax and just thought 'is that it'!!
